Xiaomi’s 11T Series; Great features, great price!
Xiaomi 11T Series. These are the first two phones in the company’s new lineup, right next to the MI11 and MI11 Pro gadgets. At the same time, Xiaomi is launching these phones without the MI brand. To the delight of fans, Xiaomi has announced two new models, the 11T and 11T Pro, which are the first two phones in the company’s new lineup, right next to the MI11 and MI11 Pro gadgets. At the same time, Xiaomi is launching these phones without the MI brand.
The new 11T Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, compared to the 888+ used in the Mi 11 Pro. On the front is a 6.67 ” flat 120Hz AMOLED display (1080 x 2400 pixels), capable of displaying 1,000 nit peak brightness and HDR 10+ content. This smartphone runs on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5.
The triple camera array on the back of the camera, titled 1 / 1.52 ‘108MP sensor (0.7µm, 9-1 pixel binning), is based on Samsung’s ISOCELL HM2 features. In front of that sensor is a 26mm (equivalent) F1.8 lens. The other two cameras are an 8MP ultraviolet module with a 120 ഫ field and an 8MP telephoto / macro lens with a 50mm (equivalent) focal length. No cameras have an optical image.
Video recording includes 8K 30p recording and 4K60p and 1080p recording up to 960 fps. HDR10 + recording is possible, although a gyro-based electronic image stabilization (EIS) footage is below 4K resolution (8K recording does not have EIS) and stability is not guaranteed. The front ‘punch hole’ selfie camera uses a 16MP 1 / 3.06 ‘sensor with 1.0µm pixels. In addition to 16MP stills, it also offers 1080p recording at 30fps.
In addition to 5G connectivity, it also features Wi-Fi (802.11 a / b / g / n / ac / 6), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and NFC support. The single USB-C port below supports 120W charging, and the phone’s 5000mAh, Li-Po battery delivers 72% power in 10 minutes and 100% power in 17 minutes. It can be unlocked without the usual passcode locks, with the side mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone will be available in black, blue and white later this month. The 128GB / 8GB RAM model is expected to sell for $650 and the 256GB / 12GB RAM model for $750.
The 11T is practically similar to the more powerful 11T Pro, with the only noticeable difference being the chipset inside. Instead of the Snapdragon 888 5G used in the 11T Pro, the 11T uses a custom dimensional 1200-Ultra chipset. This low-power chipset means that – 8K video capabilities will not be available with 11T, as it is ahead of 4K60p recording. All other features associated with the camera remain the same. Xiaomi 11T Series.
The only difference noticed is that the fast charging on the 11T is limited to 67W instead of 120W. This means that the 11T Pro gets 100% battery charge in 36 minutes instead of 17 minutes. Slower charging speeds can actually be more beneficial, as faster charging will quickly reduce battery life. Available in Black, Blue, and White, the 128GB / 8GB RAM model is priced between $650 and $770. The 256GB / 12GB RAM model is available for $885. The 128GB / 8GB RAM model will go on sale for $590. Both models are expected to be exported to most of Europe by the end of the month.
